FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most often from new and returning clients.

Do you have a physical storefront?

No. Brazilian Wax Elizabethton is a service-area business, so we do not operate a staffed office in Elizabethton, TN. Appointments are scheduled directly by phone, email, or our online booking form.

How do I book an appointment?

Call us at (423) 441 4744, email [email protected], or fill out the form on our Book Now page. We'll follow up to confirm a date and time.

How long should hair be before waxing?

Hair is generally easiest to wax when it is about one-quarter inch long, roughly the length of a grain of rice. If you have been shaving, allowing around two to three weeks of growth often gives the wax enough hair to grip.

Does a Brazilian wax hurt?

You will usually feel brief discomfort as the hair is removed, especially during a first appointment. Proper technique, skin support, and keeping a regular waxing schedule can help make future visits more manageable.

What is the difference between bikini and Brazilian waxing?

A bikini wax removes hair that may show outside a standard underwear or swimsuit line. A Brazilian wax removes much more hair from the front, sides, and back, with the option to leave a small strip or shape in front.

How often should I get waxed?

Many clients return every four to six weeks, depending on the area and individual hair growth. Keeping a regular schedule can help create a more consistent growth cycle.

Can I get waxed for the first time?

Yes. First-time clients are welcome, and we take extra time to explain preparation, the waxing process, and aftercare before your appointment begins.

What should I avoid after waxing?

Freshly waxed skin can be sensitive. It is usually best to avoid heavy workouts, hot tubs, very hot showers or baths, tight clothing, and heavily fragranced products on the area for about 24 to 48 hours.

What areas do you serve?

We work with clients across Elizabethton, Johnson City, Piney Flats, Gray, Jonesborough, Bristol, Kingsport, Bluff City, and the surrounding Tri-Cities. See our Service Areas page for details.

How do I reschedule or cancel?

Call or email us as soon as you know your plans have changed, and we'll help find a new time. See our Terms & Conditions for our scheduling policy.
